OUR SERVICES

At Control Point Mechanical (CPM), our philosophy is to fix the system, not just the immediate problem.

Our objective is to make your building more comfortable and efficient. Each building and its usage are unique. We analyze your existing Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) system and propose solutions that fit your budget.

Cleanrooms

A cleanroom is an environment typically used in a variety of industries including medical, microelectronics, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, biotechnology and healthcare manufacturing or scientific research. It has a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors. More accurately,a cleanroom has a controlled level of contamination that is specified by the number of particles per cubic meter at a specified particle size.

There can be many components to a cleanroom HVAC system, and they can be quite sophisticated. Control Point Mechanical (CPM) can help you with the design, engineering, service, and maintenance on this equipment to help keep your cleanroom in compliance.

Computer / Data Rooms

Does your company have a communications room? You know how important it is to your business to have a reliable phone system and consistent email access, without worrying about your equipment overheating and going down. The solution is to provide cooling year-round for this type of environment. It can be as simple as a ductless split AC to a Liebert total climate controlled system.

Either way, Control Point Mechanical (CPM) can design a system to meet your company’s unique needs.

Chillers

Chillers can be either air-cooled or water-cooled. Either option requires regular maintenance to ensure that temperature migration is happening at optimal levels.

Control Point Mechanical (CPM) can service various manufacturers which include Carrier, York, Trane, McQuay, and Dunham Bush.

Cooling Towers

Cooling towers operate to effectively extract heat and reject it into the environment.

Through proper installation and maintenance, Control Point Mechanical (CPM) can ensure that cooling towers are appropriately functioning for maximum cooling benefit.

Packaged Rooftop HVAC

The backbone of many offices is the central HVAC system, which many times is located on a building’s roof. There are many variations of equipment configurations, which include constant volume, variable air volume, gas heating, electric and heatpumps.

Let Control Point Mechanical (CPM) help you determine which unit is right for your building’s needs. With equipment that is properly sized and regularly maintained, you will have peace of mind that your staff will be comfortable, and when they’re comfortable, they will be more productive.

Radiant Heat

Radiant heating warms a building differently than other conventional methods. Radiant heat energy is emitted from a warm element, such as a floor or overhead panel, and warms people and other objects in rooms rather than directly heating the air around them. The result is that the internal air temperature for radiant heated buildings may be lower than for a conventionally heated building to achieve the same level of body comfort.

Control Point Mechanical (CPM) offers radiant heating service and installations when appropriate. These may include entryways, shipping/receiving areas, auto mechanic shops, and warehouse space.

Ductwork

Control Point Mechanical (CPM) can design HVAC system layouts, as well as fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork in all types of commercial applications.

Ductless Split HVAC Systems

Control Point Mechanical (CPM) installs and services ductless air conditioners, heat pumps, and split cooling systems. These state-of-the-art ductless systems are incredibly quiet and have the ability to cool different zones easily and efficiently. Ductless systems can be used in both residential and commercial settings.

CPM highly recommends the Mitsubishi Electric brand, which is the world’s leading manufacturer of this type of ductless system.

Mitsubishi Electric provides powerful, efficient, and flexible solutions to help meet a wide range of cooling and heating needs. Their industry-leading systems are designed to be modular and configurable and provide many options to design the best solution for your unique needs.

Whether you are building from the ground up or renovating an existing office building, Mitsubishi Electric offers solutions that effectively and efficiently perfect the comfort of indoor environments.

Ductless systems are ideal for installations where ducting a “traditional” system is not practical.

Mitsubishi Electric ductless split systems can offer year-round heating and cooling comfort in your office or even for your home. They’re perfect for small computer rooms, conference rooms, new additions, retrofits, finished basements, and sunrooms.

Benefits of Mitsubishi Electric’s Ductless Split HVAC system (Mr. Slim):

  • Quiet and efficient operation: Because this system can run on as little as 26 dB(A), you can hold a quiet conversation without having to worry about HVAC system distractions.
  • No required ductwork: You will not have to tear up walls or add expensive ductwork to remodels. With only a small three-inch opening needed to connect the indoor and outdoor units, a ductless split HVAC system offers easy installation, less mess, and a better looking environment.
  • No window space required: If you have ever owned a window AC unit, then you’re already familiar with blocked window views, noise concerns, and the possible security issues to consider. A ductless split HVAC system like Mitsubishi Electric’s Mr. Slim eliminates these concerns.
  • Effective zone cooling and heating: True zoning means that you can tailor individual rooms or office areas to your personal comfort tastes.
Versatility: You can air condition spaces that you at first thought impossible because there is no space for ductwork. A ductless split HVAC system like Mitsubishi Electric’s Mr. Slim is flexible enough to work in almost any room environment, in your home or office.
  • Remote controlled operation and timer functions: Mitsubishi Electric’s M-series comes with a wireless remote controller that gives you control of temperature, fan speed, vane operation, and more. Plus, a timer function means that you can set the system to operate when you need it to, which saves you money and energy.
  • Washable filters: Save money by cleaning filters instead of replacing them.
